A quick family break before 'High wedding season'

So a personal post again. Given in May I have 11 weddings booked I took the opportunity to take a quick family trip/break across to San Juan Island in the U.S for a whale watching trip out of Friday Harbor. A bit too early to see any Orcas but still saw plenty of wildlife. San Juan is a lovely Island and we will definitely have to return soon.

Here’s a quick shot I took last night from the lighthouse at Lime Kiln State Park, looking across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island.

fitnat (fahrner) - Hi Chris, I just wanted to tell you that I've been an admirer of your work for a while. There is a vitality in your photography that is breathtaking, joyous and touching at the same time. Sure you're good at what you do but you seem to have a passion for it, as well as an eye, for the beauty of life around you. I have to confess that I have a weakness for your island photographs; as I along with my hubby and brood will be emigrating to Nanaimo soon. Found out about your work from your link on the Brits2Vancouver Forum. Thank you for your work. It brings a smile to my face each time. By the way, could that picture get any more serene? Cheers, Fitnat
