Lexie trashes her dress! – 22nd April

….well not quite, I think the dress will survive.

Lexie is one of my brides from last summer and had been itching to do a ‘trash the dress’ (TTD) session. Which for those of you who haven’t seen it, is the latest trend in wedding photography.

So I think we both approached if with some trepidation given we’d had a foot of snow just 3 days before. Anyway the water wasn’t as cold as expected and Lexi was up for getting VERY wet!

We had lots of fun, and both got very wet (although only up to my knees on my part)

Wiggy - Stunning picitures Lexie. I saw them a few years ago but they are still bautiful. WIG p.s. did you know Wig is 73 yrs old???

Terry Boekenkruger - Lexie is my daughter-in-law........I had only one request when she and my son Gary planned their wedding last summer. I couldn't stress the importance enough that they could be frugal in amy aspect of their wedding plans......but DO NOT skimp on the photographer. Your photos secure the imprint of your wedding day on your mind, and those of your family, who are often too preoccupied during the festivities to savor the important moments. We were so pleased with the wedding photos, and the precious parents' photo books that we have to show family and friends. I am appreciative beyond words that Lexie decided to do the "Trash the Dress" photos. What do we really do with those expensive dressed that we so dearly coveted on our Big Day? They are cleaned, lovingly stored......then our children have ideas of their own for their wedding.......why not have one last opportunity to send the treasured dress off and have a beautiful portfolio to cap the perfect wedding photos!!
