Katherine & Andy – Ucluelet

2nd wedding of my double header, and it was an honour to capture Katherine’s and Andy’s big day at their home. Katherine is the wedding planner at the Black Rock Resort, and I think she was beyond excited that today was actually HER wedding After a lot of clambering around on rocks on the Wild Pacific Trail, it was back to the Wine Cellar at Black Rock for their reception.

A double header Thanksgiving weekend in Ucluelet – Collette and Craig

So a double header wedding weekend at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet. On Saturday the weather was not playing nice for Collette’s & Craig’s big day, but we managed a few shots in the downpour. Collette was even up for a trash the dress in the Pacific!

The weather held for Craig and Kim’s big day at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet, who tied the knot on the deck overlooking the Pacific waves crashing onto the rocks below.

A bright sunny day for Crystal & Chris’s big day at the Black Rock resort in Ucluelet. Married on Big Beach we then went for a fun shoot on the beach and the forest trail back to the resort.

So it was a bit wet for Ashley & Jeff’s big wedding day at the Black Rock resort in Ucluelet. But that didn’t stop us going outside and braving 100ft high waves crashing off the rocks.

Melodie & Tony, Black Rock Resort wedding, 12th Nov

So down to my penultimate wedding of the year and a trip to the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet for Melodie and Tony’s wedding day. A relaxed affair with the ceremony on the deck overlooking the open Pacific, and I then dragged them down to Big Beach for the bridal shoot.

5 weddings and a snowball fight….in July

Another multiple wedding post, just busy busy, it’s that time of year! So over the last week or so Janice married Rhys at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet, Katy and Jamie tied the knot at The Deep Cove Chalet in Sidney, Caroline and Tom exchanged vows at the Rockwater Secret Cove resort near Sechelt, Sarah & Chris walked the isle at the Tigh Na-Mara resort in Parksville, and Nicole and Mike threw snowballs on their big day at the top of Mt Washington.

Robin & Neil, Black Rock Resort, 3rd Oct

Back at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet for Robin & Neil’s big wedding day. Unbeknown to Neil, Robin had secretly shot a Boudoir session with me earlier in the year which I’d turned into a book as a present for Neil, which I gave to him just before leaving for the ceremony. I think it went down well

So on my own 16th wedding anniversary Miriam and Graham tied the knot at the new Black Rock Resort in Uclulet.

My 2nd wedding now at the new Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet, with Kristi and Mark having their wedding ceremony down on Big beach next to the resort. Our fun shoot was interrupted by an uninvited guest of the black four legged variety with big claws and teeth!
