Last wedding of the year, Leah & Ben, Victoria

So an evening ceremony at the beautiful chapel in St Ann’s Academy in Victoria for Leah and Ben, with their casual reception held at the Union Club, where I’d previously arranged a ‘first-sight’ meeting between Leah and her husband to be, before the ceremony.

Last wedding of the year (#52) for me, another busy year. Booking well for next year, about 60% booked now for the main Summer Saturdays, not many dates left now.

So just to say i hope all my past/future clients have a wonderful new year, and look out for my annual Top 10 shots (for 2011), coming in Jan. A big prize for the winner

Ekkk! Trying to catch up on my blogging with 4 weddings in 5 days…..in November!

So a lovely small evening ceremony/dinner for Carol and Nigel at Nanaimo Golf club, and I believe the first time that Carol saw her new granddaughter, just before her ceremony.

Bronwyn & Rob, Cox Bay Beach Resort, Tofino

So the first of 4 weddings in 5 days (it is November right, not July?)

And my first wedding at the newish Cox Bay Resort, where Bronwyn & Rob tied the knot. The torrential rain nicely stopped for us to go on the beach for a quick shoot.

Katherine & Andy – Ucluelet

2nd wedding of my double header, and it was an honour to capture Katherine’s and Andy’s big day at their home. Katherine is the wedding planner at the Black Rock Resort, and I think she was beyond excited that today was actually HER wedding After a lot of clambering around on rocks on the Wild Pacific Trail, it was back to the Wine Cellar at Black Rock for their reception.

A double header Thanksgiving weekend in Ucluelet – Collette and Craig

So a double header wedding weekend at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet. On Saturday the weather was not playing nice for Collette’s & Craig’s big day, but we managed a few shots in the downpour. Collette was even up for a trash the dress in the Pacific!

Melanie & Darilyn, Long Beach Lodge, Tofino

So really odd weather today, alternating between blue skies and heavy fog! With Dana & Chris receited their wedding vows on the lawns outside Hatley Castle in Victoria, and then off on a photoshoot around the grounds of Hatley.

Craig & Kim, Black Rock, Ucluelet

The weather held for Craig and Kim’s big day at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet, who tied the knot on the deck overlooking the Pacific waves crashing onto the rocks below.

Ali & Dan, Bamfield

So my first ever wedding in Bamfield, which is not suprising as it’s not that easy to get folks to, 90km logging track plus a small boat trip across an inlet. But Bamfield has probably my favorite beach on Vancouver Island, Brady’s Beach, where Ali & Dan held their wedding ceremony, with their reception back at Tyee Lodge.
