So what can I tell you about myself....? I was born at an early age, and graduated Harvard when I was five. Invented something called 'Google' when I was 8. Climbed Everest by my tenth birthday but that was too easy, so went on to the Winter Olympics coming away with 8 gold medals, dominating the sport I invented....UFC on Ice.
Do you think I get away with that on my gravestone?
More seriously....well at least back to reality. I'm a Brit living in Canada, which would explain my 'accent' as Canadians like to keep pointing out to me that I have. I won't give you the cliché/cheesy 'I'm passionate about photography' speech'. Suffice to say I consider myself very lucky to be able to earn a living from what I do.
I know what all the buttons and dials on my cameras do, quite important when taking photographs! I am largely self taught. I am not an 'award winning' photographer....mainly because I've never entered any competitions. I'll take the positive feedback from clients any day over the subjective opinions of my peers.
I've photographed weddings professionally now for 8 years, notching up nearly 300 weddings in that time. I cover all of Vancouver Island, and the odd mainland wedding if I really like the clients :-)
Weddings are my bread and butter, but I also dabble in Fine Art portrait photography, Boudoir, and my new venture, Dog photography.

I live in Nanaimo, the wrong side of 40, married with two wonderful children (and a wonderful wife....love ya' dear!), 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, 1 (it used to be 2) Guinea Pig, and a mortgage.
